I don't know how it would be with a overdrive tranny AND a 2 something ratio in the rearend.

I think I'll put the 2.75 gear in it and see how it drives. I'll have a spare center section to put different gears in to if I need to.

Think I'll put a cheap tach in it so I'll have a better idea of engine rpm's.

I got the rear end apart today after work. It's got 31 splines in it. Now I hope the extra one does too. I'll find out Thursday, I'm planning on taking the extra one apart.
