460 Too Much Oil Pressure
Guys,
I need help with a problem I'm having with a 460 in my jet boat. Last year I tweaked a pushrod and rocker arm causing a loss of all oil pressure. I have since replaced the parts and now have a reading of 80 plus PSI (the needle is pegging out). Prior to the failure I was running 40-60 PSI. Thanks in advance for any help with this problem.

40-60 is low. My 1990 EFI 460 runs 80+ when cold, 70-72 when good and hot. They have high pressure with stock oil pumps. Nature of the beast.
