best gaskets??
I just had some head work done. Now it's time to put it back together and I was wondering what gaskets you guys use. Motor is a 289 w/ World Product windsor heads, 10:1 compression, hydraulic cam and Edlebrock Performer RPM intake.
I don't race the car, it just had a nice motor in it when I bought it. I drive it to work about once a week and take/pick up my kids from school 2-3x a week. Add in a few errands and I put about 120-160 miles a week on it.

There is a few I use I either go with Felpro or ROL. I have been going with with ROL because the headgaskets are better quality. I had to many issues with the Felpro headgaskets being slightly off around the bolt holes.Its also cheaper to get a full gasket set than 2 head gaskets. Try this place they sell ROL www.partsdinosaur.com

I use Fel-pro on all my vehicles and haven't had a problem yet. We also carry a full line of them at www.rockauto.com.

Felpro it is then! They're what I've always used but the guy at the machine shop recommended some that start w/ a 'K'??? I've never heard of them and was just wondering if their name would come up. Thanks guys!
