On My Buddy's 06 F350 He Has Daytime Running Lights. Is There Any Way To Disable This Feature And Default Back To The Regular Headlight Switch Operation??

Don't take my word for it, but I think there is either a different relay near the switch you can put in or a 2nd wire that goes to the headlights for DTR.

If its anything like my '01...This is what I did...VERY simple...

Behind the drivers headlight mounted to the rail there is a resistor bolted to the rail. its protected by a metal shroud with holes in it...looks like a heatsink. Simply remove the electrical connection to that resistor...done If you ever want them back, just reattach.

Gee, I modified my fog lights so they would work as daytime running lights. I've found that folks are a lot less likely to pull out in front of me when they're on. I wish that my Excursion had come with them.

I leave my lights in AUTO, fog lights on and I covered up the light sensor on the dashborad, so my headlights and fog lights are always on.

Cool...My DRL fuse on the '01 is tied in with other important things...I think it the horn or some other important lights, like brakes or turn signals.

Glad you tracked it down.
