Check Engine Light
2000 F-150, 4.2 V6
Check Engine Light Is On. Have Disconnected And Reconnected The Battery Several Times To Re-cycle. Replaced The 2 Front O2 Sensors.
I Think The Codes Read By My Parts Store Were 172 And 173, Runnjing Lean On Banks 1 And 2?
Anyone Have Any Suggestions?

Verify your fault codes. Those are not "lean" codes (which are almost never caused by O2 sensors).
MAF sensors can cause mixture problems, however, there are more common and less expensive to repair faults that are usually at issue.

Just this week, I had the same exact codes come up.
Here's what I had.
I bought intot he "tornado" theory. I decided to take it out, and I did. NOW, I get these same codes. We did the removal of the battery post, and even went to the hand held computer and "reset" the thing. NOW it is back.
Is the maf dirty, or need replaced ???

Probably a leak in the intake tract since that's what you were messing with.
