check engine light...
I was wondering what is going on when the check engine light flashes 2 or 3 times, then a short pause, then flashes again, etc.
I have only seen this when it it very cold out.
And it only does it for 2 or 3 minutes.
Any clues?

check engine light...
My truck does the same thing when it is very cold out and I have not given it time to warm up. I have an 89 F-150 300. I hooked up a diagnostic tester and it mentioned the EGR valve. My guess is that either the air is so dense it throws off one of the sensors or my EGR valve needs to be replaced in the future. If I am very careful on the throttle I can make it stop flashing, but it only does the 2-3 flashes in sub zero temperatures.
