pic headaches
Ok Abe I am still trying to figure this out. Is the setting you have to change uder the icon button or some where else? This is why I refused computers for so long, THE MACHINES SHALL TAKE OVER THEY ARE JUST WAITING!!!!! Like I said I will get it sooner or latter.Casey

The "Guided Mode" and the "Enhanced Mode" are right above the message widow:
The Guided Mode will produce a window pop up when you click on the
icon, in which you can enter the image URL:
The Enhanced Mode will enter the [IMG] tag in the message window when you click on the
icon, which you paste the URL of the image after and then press the icon again to have the [/IMG], which closes your insertion code.

Bob I hope you don't think I am doing this to peeve you off. I just looked for what you showed on the post and those controls aren't on my message screen all the others are but not those 2. like I said I'm still learning and not the sharpest marble in the bag with this stuff. Don't worry about being a pest. I like looking at pictures and if I can help I do what I can.
I don't know why you don't have the "Guided Mode" and "Enhanced Mode" options. I don't think it should really matter. You should still be able to post using the icon.
What happens when you click on the icon? Does a window pop up?
If you're Internet Explorer, like I am, a pesky yellow bar will pop up at the top of the screen warning you that the site is trying use some kind of scripting. I am trying to figure out how to turn it off. I have turned it off on my home computer but my shop computer still does it. If this PIA widow pops up you have to click on it to allow you to use the image inserstion window.

Your description of the "pop Up Blocker" is accurate. I think what you have to do to get rid of it (meaning the little yellow bar that comes up and blips at you) is to go to the "Tools" menu on Windows Internet Explorer,
click on it to get the drop down menu,
click on "Pop Up Blocker",
click on "settings",
then I think you can add the FTE site and it will allow the window for attaching pics to come up............I think.
I haven't tried it on this computer because our IT guys get a bit sensitive when you start jackign around with "their" settings.

Yes Bob it throws up a info. warning page about the tool bar. So far all I have been able to do is get it to throw me off. I do all the steps it says and doesn't take and sometimes kicks me off. I will figure it out on of these times thanks again Casey

When it comes to computers I am about as dumb as Bush on foreign and domestic matters. My son showed me how to use PHOTO BUCKET and then I can post on any forum. Works for me.
