the truck is the best looking ever, fords always look better. you guys cry about power, this and that, the Ford F-150 hauls batter than anything around it, and everybody knows that, any day, the 2004 Hemi only Dynoed 248 HP, and they just plain suck, its not even a real Hemi anyways, blah blah, The new Ram sucks. the Ford looks sick. should make the other trucks, History. the are top selling 31 years in US and 26 in Canada. .......
This post is more entertaining than any truck commercial I've ever seen. If you aren't convinced to go buy a new F150 after reading this epthiney (sp?) than you have no heart...
You guys are killing me with the bed issue. I am a carpentor, and i like the space my bed provides. I dont like people reaching over the side of my bed to grab tools because they scratch up my paint. if they want a tool. they can climb in the back. I can put an emglo compressor in the back and lock the cover. If you don't like the extra space maybe you should think about buying a car.
That few inches of depth really doesn't help me out any...I can stack stuff as high as I want over the bed rails. If you want to give them more room, make the bed longer, not taller...
You don't think they just threw it on there without checking or taking precautions for this do you?
One of the reasons for the cap less fuel filler is warranty cost. How many people don't tighten their gas caps and set a Check Engine Light?
the argument I heard ford use when they releaced the fuel filler with the explorer was that it was more enviromentally freindly. It had nothing to do with waranty cost. On top of that the new caps dont screw in the way older ones did they requeir a 1/4 turn and they snap in to place. I don't know what ford is thinking. I only know what I am thinking and by the looks of things the "cap less fuel filler" looks like a trap for dirt and debre that I do not want in my tank or cloging my fuel filter. Those things can be a pain to change.
yeah V8 Hemi rated to Tow 8750, Ive towed 15,000 with my Truck, and anyways, a F-450 would out tow that pos Kodiak.or a F-750...whatever
It was 10,000 you were bragging about a few months back, do you really expect anyone to believe you had 15000 behind your truck? Well, Icould believe you pulled it 10 feet or so...Oh, and what is your truck rated to tow, nowhere near 15000...The hemi would kill your little truck. I've drove 4.2s and wasn't the least bit impressed, it wouldn't get out of it's own way...I owned a 4.6, good engine as long as you weren't towing, then it fell flat on its face.
Hell, I could probably out tow your 4.2 with my bicycle...
Factory headers were listed on the page about the 09 f150 being revealed.
Yes, its something I saw when I viewed the engine/frame without the body. Actually, the same factory headers as the 2007-2008. Not tubed headers, but cast "headers".
