There. You can see that instead of the smashed pigsnout duct that sites between the grill and the hood on the 302s and 351s, the 300s and 460s have a duct that goes down and pulls air from a hole (already there) between the radiator and driver headlight bucket.
I can't see the pix, this damn military internet is bullsh*&. But if y'all would said like the 300 before then i would've got it. Guess i should've thought of it anyways, i got a 300 sitting back home waiting for a new carb.. which is cheap i know but can't be workin on 2 trucks at once. Hell i might just steal that off my 300. thanx
i am not sure the 300 with the carb has the same setup.
not exaclty, but there's a plastic duct that brings in air from the grill on the 300 and i'm sure i could figure out a way to jimmy rig it onto my 302 intake. just as long as i'm getting better air flow that the stock duct on the 302, i mean as soon as you close the hood it's blocking most air travel since it sits on top of the grill/radiator. well to the side of the radiator.
