Calander Synch Time!!!

Guys, it's time to start thinking about this year's calendar.

I know of two events in August. 8-10 is the All Nationals Truck Show in Carlisle PA. I need a pretty good guess as to who's gonna attend this one because once FTE has 25 members show up with their trucks, we get a free tent and our own seperate area to display our trucks...that's really important. I do plan to attend and will be staying in a hotel. Let me know if you plan to camp or hotel and we'll get you more details.

The other event is the 2nd Annual WV FTE Truck Show in Pipestem WV on 23 August (Saturday...gee I hope that's the right date!) This is a day event with trophies and a Chapter Meeting.

NOW, what other events do we want to plan? Let's think about breaking the state into North, East, South, and West....Clarksburg and above, Huntington or Parkersburg, Charleston, and Beckley(/Pipestem)/Princeton.

I've got a full schedule this year...since it's an election year and I want to try and attend all of the regional meets you guys schedule...but ya gotta get on my calendar early!

Let me know what you guys want to try and some tentative dates!

Joe

We always attend the All Ford Nats in Carlisle but the truck representation is kinda low. The Early Bronco representation is *very* low, except for 2006 (40th anniversary).

The Pipestem meet sounds cool but unfortunately that conflicts with a trip to Myrtle Beach we have planned. I haven't been to the Truck Nats but hope to go someday. Probably not this year though since its so close to the beach trip.

I'll be interested to hear the dates and locations of some of the other events. Hopefully I can swing one of them.

To far out for a firm commit from me.

I would like to do both, but work comes first.

Yeah guys, I understand being a bit far out there.

What are your thoughts on regions and regional meets?

I am game for a northern division, an excuse to go out to dinner on Saturday or Sunday afternoon sounds like fun.

We could meet in like Fairmont or a bit to the east depending on where everone is coming from.

If the timing was right, I would even drive down to Charleston to meet some of the south western trouble makers like Rod.
I would have liked to have met Paul when I was working in Elkview, but timing was an issue.

I seem to have a lot of timing issues don't I.

Woops, did I type that ?

Theres always the car show at the Tech Center in Gore. Its in may. They always ahve a turn out of 150 vehicles or so and it helps the school out. I guess im kinda partial cause thats where my love for autos came from.
