Van Doors

A guy on craigslist is selling two doors off a 78 ford van that he say "should" also fit the 73-79 trucks too. Is this true? I really don't think so, but they are in excellent condition (from the pics) if they would fit. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks.

1975/91 Econoline = doors are interchangeable.

1991 = It's the exact same body style as 1975.

Only the grille, headlights (round to rectangular), and lower stone shield changed (in 1979).

1991 = same as 1975: front doors, same as side doors, same as rear doors, same as sliding door.

LOL...I thought he meant interchange with other Econolines!

No Econoline door will fit an F Series truck.

Well, if I took a 20 lb. sledge to it, do you think I could make it fit?

Thanks for the info, I didn't think it'd work. Be nice if they would though, we'd all have alot more good doors to choose from. It's getting hard to find doors for these truck that aren't half rotten.

if it runs, it costs about a grand coast to coast if you arent in a huge hurry.

I shipped most of my 73-79 ford trucks from california to here when I moved.

a $500 truck there is worth well over $1500 here for complete lack of rust. people here are amazed.

Shipping from Santa Ynez Ca. to Virginia beach Va. in 6 days was $1200.00 2 years ago.(before fuel prices went crazy).standard size cab would have been a little cheaper. They charge extra for length and height.

Ouch, you musta shipped whatever in an enclosed carrier. In 2005, I shipped a rust free (that in itself is amazing) 1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk to Middleboro, MA, the cost was $650.00.
