Shifter Knob replacement

Ok, long story short is that I busted the shifter knob when I took it off and since I didn't want to buy a new stock one I decided to go buy a hurst 5 speed ball but theres a problem, our shifters don't have threads. Well, that's just great...now I gotta go buy myself one of them!

What thread pitch and diameter does the new ball use?

I like it...takes me WAY back to when I was a LITTLE kid...my dad had a '67 Comet Cyclone with a Hurst shifter.

New **** was not that costly, and all you had to do was hammer it on! I bought 1 for my friend who loaned me his 90 F-150, the **** he told me was loose, so I bought and installed it!

That looks sweet.

I'm cheap and lazy. When mine broke off (in the middle of an intersection, which was fun) I went to Napa and bought a cheap replacement for a couple bucks and hammered it on.
