yeah it'll be the roller. the swap is a farily easy one ryan, i did some reading on it a while back. bellhousings are the same on the 300/302/351, but you will need the flex plate and flywheel from the 300 as they are different weights. electrical will be a bit different, but for the most part not too terrible. you can do it!!

Fom, any holes bigger than a nickel or dents bigger than your fist will have to be fixed to pass a safety if the guys do it from the book. its stupid if you ask me.

Yeah i dont think it would be that hard just get a 300 donor truck 4x4 or 4x2 i dont think the drivline matters

Hell i could even probably find a 300 to trade ya from a wrecker in edmonton if your serious. Ive looked for a roller 351 and I cant find one yet.

That`s my plans, take the 351 out of the 85 4X4 and drop it in my 69 F100.
Now to see if this all happens this summer.....

It`s not a hard swap, the 69 already has a good C6 behind the 302 so it`s just to find time with opportunity and get at it.
