The fuel filter used with the original 460 Holley 4V's screws directly into the carb body, has a nipple on the other end for the short neoprene gas hose to clamp onto.
Some people think this nipple is only where the fuel line goes They are totally unaware it's the fuel filter, so they install an aftermarket inline fuel filter.
If the original filter is present, it could be partially clogged up.
