I found this link today by accident somehow. Maybe you guys already know about it. It seems pretty good for new guys like me and maybe there is something in there that will help someone. The Tech and Symptoms pages helped me some.
Been using it for years and telling every newbie about it. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/693569-hpop.html
It has very good explinations on the workings of our injector system and maintenance requirments. Glad more people are putting it out there for others to see.
I thought someone here would know about it Plowhand. I am fighting a learning curve about mods and some minor nagging problems and it helps me to be able to understand what I need to ask you guys about.
What part of south GA are you in? If you will put me on a tractor for a day, I'll come visit!
Thanks for the links Plowhand. I bookmarked them all. This is a great forum with some great guys in it.
I will be 52 next month and I have been involved with farming since I was too young to drive. I owned and ran a fertilizer company in the 80's in S.C. For the last 10 years or so I have been doing wetland work. During my vacation, which I look forward to each year, I go back to S.C, and help a friend plant corn for waterfowl in rice fields. I usually run a planter. In 2007 we planted and sprayed bout 440 acres in 6 days. We didn't have to run from field to field, it is all in one area. It is relaxing to get on a tractor and forget everything.
