redfire42,

Yes, the F350 blocks will give you about a half-inch nose low rake with a 2 and a half inch leveling kit. Understand though, that some leveling kits are only 1 and a half inches. Just make sure you know what you are getting. Check out my gallery to get a visual representation.

Thanks.
Would the level kit have to be for the 350 then or just make sure its 2 1/2". Your truck does have a nice stance to it. Just what I'm looking for..

The manufacturer of the kit will probably not specify whether it is for the 250 or 350, most likely they will say it is for both, or use the generic "Superduty" term. But they should specify how much it will lift the front end, so just make sure its 2.5". As far as the rear blocks, if you have a truck specialty shop nearby, check there to see if they have lifted anyone's 350 lately. Thats where I got mine. I couldnt believe my luck, the mechanic even pulled the blocks out of the dumpster for me. I felt bad just taking them, he didnt want any money, but I have since given them plenty of business and referals, so its all about the "Pay it Forward" mentallity I guess.

I'm sure glad I asked for some recommendations on a leveling kit. I am getting some real good info. I tow a rather tongue heavy boat trailer and would like to have the front lifted but also have the rear slightly higher. Thanks to all of you.

Payson,

On a different note... When were you with the 25th ID? I was attached to them during OIF III in Mosul. AH-64A SC Army National Guard. Possible connection here?

Hey guys, I've experienced some of the same problems with add a leaf type kits. The one I used was from Rough Country. It left my truck with a crooked stance. I've done several lifts for friends, and also on other trucks I've owned in the past, and I've found it to be more beneficial to just replace the Ft leafs springs, when doing any kind of lift. More so on these trucks because of the weight of the Diesel Engine's. Now I know some guys that have done and will continue to do hanger leveling kits. This should not be an option! The reason I say this is because the factory springs are already fatigued from the years of service. One day you'll wake up and look at your truck and think WOW! My truck looks really low in FT. This is because they gradually fatigue and the negative arc increases more over time. They need to be replaced. Not to mention when you do a Full Leaf Spring Levleing Kit, you'll also get a new set of shocks too. You'll notice that your truck will drive and handle much better, than the stock system ever could. Keep in Mind, you get what you pay for. JMHO on the leveling kits. Take Care. Country

Countrycar,

No offense, but youre going to have a hard time using the "you get what you pay for" argument with me with regards to the Rubicon Express kit. While I admit, I dont have experience with full spring replacements, that kit is not cheap, and you do get what you pay for. I think Rubicon Express's reputation speaks for itself when it comes to quality. Just MY honest opinion.

The rear is 1" higher than the front, when it had the stock blocks the front was 1" higher than the rear, lol.

I don't know so what about F350 front spring, would they work the same as a leveling kit? If the blocks are bigger in ther rear how is the front? Would it work?

Redfire, no that is a good theory but it's not the truth. It's the same deflection and height, however the front GVW is 1100 more pounds than a 250.
