stuped motor question.

I am new to the Ford trucks I was a Chevy man I have had my truck for only 9 days. It has a 5.4 motor in it what is the displacment is it a 351? Sorry for such a silly Question. Thanks

The stupid questions are the one's not asked.

It's a 331 cubic inch motor. A 351 is a 5.8L. 5.4L has a few things unto themselves. There are no plug wires and each plug has it's own coil like the GenIII. The coil is directly above the spark plug. There are 3 types of cylinder heads basically. There are the 2 valve SOHC and the 3 valve SOHC then there is the 4 valve DOHC heads.

The 5.4L is 330ci.

Absolutely no relation to the 302/351 series engines.
