I replaced the roof marker lens and the dually wheel well lights w/smoked lens, but the dually lights have a foam gasket that got trashed while replacing the lights, does anyone know where I can get these foams or is it a dealer item?
And why can't I shake the feeling that the dealer is going to want me to buy the whole light?
I don't know Dave, but post what you find out. I want to do the same thing to mine. I think they look great, my truck is white with beige bottom.
I am exstatic with them!! My truck is silver, so they blend in sooo nice! And the wheel wells are awesome, no more orange and red, untill you turn the lights on. The roof lights are blue now which I like, but not sure how legal it is on the roof, or if there's even a law about it. I'm sure there is, there's a frickin law for everything.
I'll goto Ford today if nobody comes up with anything, worst case, I'll goto HobbyLobby and see if they have anykind of foam I can cut myself.

Yes the blue is illegal (thats DOT, not local law). but I dont think anyone will bother you unless you are a commercial vehicle.
Make sure you get a good closed cell foam to cut other wise an open cell foam will act as a wick
I wonder if they have orange bulbs to put in there? I shouldn't have to worry about it, I'm not comm. but you know how it is when ya get the bored cops.
The bulb burns blue, not sure why, the package said clear. Keep in mind, I was out doing this and it started raining on me, but being stubborn, I was finishing no matter!

Yep. you can get them at autozone, I think they are #161 or #159 single filament bulbs
The foam gasket is included on the light. When I put the factory clearance lights on my old truck, the lights came with the foam already on them. I tore the foam off of the lights on the ends, because they didn't want to sit down flush. If you just put silicone on the light you should be fine.
Yeah, I need to be clear, I need the foams for the dually lights. I ordered a closed foam pad from mcmaster.
Oh, well I thought you were talking about the cab lights. Sorry about that. I don't know anything about the dually fender lights, but it looks like you solved your problem.
