trans rebuild cost

How much should I expect to pay for a 2000 4r70w 4x4 rebuild? I am hoping for the best, planning for the worst, so I want an idea of what I could have to shell out in the near future. Hopefully it won't come to that. I am just feeling a little hesitation and slippage.

I paid 1800 and got it rebuilt and beefed up a little...heavy duty torque converter, clutch pack and shift kit. No problems after 15,000 miles had 51,000 miles when I had to rebuild.
