Show Off Your Pre-97 Trucks

Thanks TexasGuy, she gets a few double takes around here still. I know you personally also like the fact there is no lift, I have read a few of your post. 1 1/2 leveling kit, and trimmed the ends off the bumber ........ although I have been getting the itch, for the past three years (lol) to raise her up 4" - 6".
What part of Texas you from, I live in Denton.

One of the very last of this generation trucks... and probably one of fairly few still held on to by their original owner. Most of mine are third, fourth, or tenth owner trucks, with the exception of the '85... we're the second owner on that.
I like that black, it matches my '87... it doesn't show dirt quite as well as the dark, glossy, factory black.

*Pioneer Super Tuner III Stereo, *Pioneer 10" Truck Subs,
*Pioneer 5 1/4" door speakers, *Pioneer 300W Amp

skyfox and al cowlings.... the place where i bought mine, had both a blue long bed standard cab EB, and a black shortbed standard cab EB. they had a black ex. cab EB, but that was sold before i got there.
they're in the middle of nowhere in Central PA though. google "troy's auto sales dornsife, pa" they have no website, just 600+ trucks on the side of a mountain. literally.

Any recommendations for or against doing this to the front as well as the rear?

The more clutches you put in, and the easier it is for it to lock up, the more likely you are for it to grab at an inopportune time... LS differentials can get confused rather easily, since they're simple mechanisms.

I see on on the youtube description that you have Skyjacker Softride springs. How do you like them not for their lift capacity, but for their overall build, ride quality, and weight bearing capacity. I'd like to replace my springs someday with Softrides, but I'm not really looking for a lift. I'm more interested in the ride quality improvement (if the name holds true)

So more clutches in the rear is good, it might be better to get standard LS in the front? This is all really good info for my impending regear.
