My 02' 7.3 has an electrical humm coming from under the hood near the fuel filtter......keep in mind the ignition switch is off. I opened the fuel drain and the humm went away.....sort of.It actually got quieter. I pulled the fuel pump fuse but the hum continues. Any ideas?
I also thought of pressurized fuel bleeding off but it's been going on non- stop for a couple of days. My next step is to disconnect the batteries to verify that it is electrical.
Did you check the two relays ( the GPR and AIH ) ? Does it do it all the time or just after it has been run ? If you go out in the morning after sitting all night is it doing it ?
