humming sound

i am getting a loud humming sound comming from my bronco, i think it it my fuel pump (it is real loud) it is a steady humm if i rev it up no change in pitch nothing just hummmmmmmmmm........do fuel pumps usually make alot of noise? it is the one on the fuel rail...

Maybe it just doesn't know the works!

Sorry, that was too easy. Sounds like the fuel pump. See if you hear it outside back by the bumper more pronounced.

it is the one on the frame rail and ya it can be heard 10-15 feet away from my truck mabey further. like i said it is loud

and yes it does know the words, it is just shy!:-)
