Talking Check out my new "look" !

Just posting so i can check out my avatar (logo from side of my truck)

On a side note,

K&N is replacing my air filter, wich is good news for me...

In other news, I just made a lasagna, with 10 x more cheese than normal, cause the wife is at work.

I was worried this post was going to be something more explosive than cheesy lasagna.

I agree become a supporter, We all enjoy the benefits of such a great place to gain an abundance of knowledge. Plus it is a great place to get a bad case of PMS. I love this sight, I personal want to thank all the people who makeup and support the sight.

I saw the oil rig pics. Are you using mudmotors? If so, where from? I work for R&M Energy Systems and we make a crap load of directional drilling motors for Canada.

We've used mud motors, but we dont drill much directional.

I always wondered how the mud motor worked, seemed whoever i asked was like "if you dont know, i'm not gonna tell you."

I'll mabye post some more rig pics one day, i actually have some good ones of the floor, and bits and stuff....I was on rig watch one time, and went crazy with the camera.

Scott, do you know where youre mud motors are going? (place, company?)

I used to work for select energy systems in calgary, making BOP's, well heads, and other coil tubing stuff.... Then i went to the rig to make more.

Select energy ships stuff all over the world.

Back to my other train of thought, we never driectional drilled that much, all are wells were 3 day holes, from 400 - 1200 meters.

Mostly natural gas, some oil, a few H2S sites....

We have motor shops in Calgary and Edmonton. Our biggest customers are Schlumberger, SDI and Haliburton. I think most of the Canada stuff that we ship is being used by SLB. If you ever want to see how a directional mud motor is built and you're in Texas give me a holler.
