Welcome to FTE.

Tell us about your truck. If you have any questions, just ask. There are people on here that you will not believe how much they know about these trucks.

If you do lots of reading in this forum, you will learn so much about your truck. I had no idea I could do all the things I have done to miy truck. I did all the mods you see in my sig myself, thanks to the great people on here.

Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome to the addiction of FTE!! You might get more responses to your question if you start a fresh post about it. I'd give you advise...but I'm not sure about Banks. Enjoy the site!

Here is a good link for several topics for maintaining your truck..
http://www.7point3.com/mods.aspx
And yes, you need to add to the temperature if you are post turbo.. Mine is tapped into the exhaust manifold for direct readings..

Welcome. There are varying opinions on the temp difference pre and post turbo, but 300º seems to be what the majority of folks say.

Welcome Mr Andrew,

what kind of EGT are you reading at WOT, and what kind of chip/tuning has been done to the truck.
BTW, after 25 or so posts you will be able to fill out your signature, so we wont have to ask you about your truck.

with a hot tune at WOT you should see about 1100* +or - depending on other mods. while cruising down the interstate you should see between 600-700* at say 75mph

If he is getting 1100* on his gauge, he is probably in the neighborhood of 1400* ... which might damage pistons and turbo.. since he is post turbo with his sensor.. right?

Yes I believe that you are correct. The same thing with those highway cruise readings, he probably will see much lower numbers than what Brandon posted if I am to believe the info I have read.
