I have the 05-07 Harley style heads on my 07 (made by Eagle Eyes) and I don't have any complaints about them.

Is there any difference in quality between the aftermarket OEM style headlights and headlights from Ford? I need the left one for my '03 and the aftermarkets are about 1/3 the cost of OEM.

I have the same Eagle Eye replacment 05-07 Harley Style lights that DC Special has and I am very happy with them as well. I think that they must be the factory supplier of the lights, or they have bought old production moldings because they match too well to be aftermarkets. They will take a little bit of modifying to your header panel to get them too fit, but they work great.

I bought mine from headlightsdepot on ebay. They are SAE and DOT approved unlike many of the aftermarket lights.

How much modification is needed to make the 05-07 lights work? cutting , welding, etc?

Just some cutting of the plastic from what I understand. I believe there are instructions here somewhere, but here are the ones from Dfuser's site. Dfuser also offers replacement headlights if you want to look there. He is a very good person to deal with.

I just got these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-04...QQcmdZViewItem after I replaced these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-04...QQcmdZViewItem After 4 years on the truck. No leaks just a little bit of yellowing which I wouldn't of noticed if I hadn't replaced the clear corners with new ones.

Just a heads up, the Creation Roku headlights are not DOT approved (there is no amber reflector). It is doubtful that you would ever get in trouble for it, but it is possible.

ebay headlights are a gamble.....mine completely SUCK! I just haven't gotten around to replacing them yet, they are projection style. I stripped out the plastic bolts immediately that came with them for headlight adjustment, I had to fab the factory ones into them to make them work. Beware of ebay import junk lights!

Yeah, I've never heard of any projector style heads that people have been happy with.

They look cool in the daytime but I'd trade em for OEM in a heartbeat! And mine are in the beginning stages of "yellowing" already. Had em on there about a year and a half or so....?

It took me 2 sets or projectors to get a good set of set screws even then they weren't set exactly where I wanted them but I didn't want to risk stripping them over a little adjustment.

The one piece I just got was way easier to set and a far better quality product. They are much brighter then the APC style too
