flatbed using stainless pipe- tubular bed
I've got some plans together to build a semi flatbed design- kind of a baja style- using 3" stainless exhaust pipe. Has anyone done this or anything like it or have seen something similar. I plan on being able to change functions and design based on what i'm doing. I havent; been able to find much. It will be on my '75 4x crew- short bed.
It will be mounted close to the frame with wheel-wells so I can put on a camper if i choose (tubes will not be carrying weight of camper) and will be designed to store all the tools and hunting equiptment i use as well. Summer project if all goes well.
thanks... would like to see other's designs to work out bugs etc.
