Help with differential Identification

Alright ladies and gents. I need some help with the identification of my front and rear diffs. I am going to try and attach some photo bucket links. I hope this works. The reason I want to know what I have is so that I can lower my gears and add lockers. Any all info is appreciated.

What you need to do is look in the door jamb area and look for a factory tag with all the info on it. There is a spot that says axel with a code. Then match it up here:

Axle Type
31 — 3.73 non-limited slip, F-250/Excursion
C1 — 3.73 limited slip, F-250/Excursion
32 — 4.10 non-limited slip, F-250
C2 — 4.10 limited slip, F-250/Excursion
33 — 4.30 non-limited slip, F-250
C3 — 4.30 limited slip, F-250/Excursion
36 — 4.56 non-limited slip, F-250
C6 — 4.56 limited slip, F-250
41 — 3.73 non-limited slip, F-350 (single rear wheels)
D1 — 3.73 limited slip, F-350 (single rear wheels)
42 — 4.10 non-limited slip, F-350 (single rear wheels)
D2 — 4.10 limited slip, F-350 (single rear wheels)
43 — 4.30 non-limited slip, F-350 (single rear wheels)
D3 — 4.30 limited slip, F-350 (single rear wheels)
46 — 4.56 non-limited slip, F-350 (single rear wheels)
D6 — 4.56 limited slip, F-350 (single rear wheels)

You have a Visteon (or Sterling) 10.5 inch differential in the rear and a DANA 50 in the front.

I have an '05 F250 SD Crew Cab 5.4 with the axle code of "37". It's clearly a seven and not a one also. The sticker's nice and clean. Any ideas?

What I posted was for 99-04 trucks.

Not sure about the 05+ trucks. But you alsways could crawl underneath and see. The sticker should still be there. Mine is on my 03' with 90K miles on it.
