to those with boost gauges
my buddy that has the 03 7.3 just put his isspro gauges in and they look great.
he was upset that he can only get 8 psi boost when just revving the engine up out of gear. i reassured him that 8 psi revving was incredible and not to worry.
does any of your trucks make boost under those conditions? i know that mine wont even flicker the needle by just revving. how about you?

th etuner has no effect on mine. and if anything the intake should help build boost not lose it. and by the way the 03 in question has a superchip on tow safe mode and an intake but everything else is stock and the intake isnt breathing enough air, the filter minder always draws up the first time you drive it so you can rule the intake out becaus ehis isnt getting enough air in as is yet he still gets 8 psi with no load

dunno, thats an odd one, the only thing i could figure was the new bodied trucks having the smaller housing would build it easier but now that guys running the 1.15 do it also i am not sure of the root cause, 5 psi is a big difference on a no load situation
