Power Surge
Hey yall. I have a 97 F250 LD 4x4. I put a Alpine cd player in using a wiring harness just like you're supposed to. Everything mounted up nice. I have been doing this for years but on this particular install when I power up the system I get a power surge coming from the speakers. It's like a thump almost. Everything sounds fine afterward its just once when I power up. I'm sure its a simple fix but I taught myself and really don't have time to troubleshoot with a 15 month old yellin da da all day.
