After looking many times at the wiring and the diagram I see exactly what is left to do.
The only question left is the light green / red wire that use to attach to the I terminal of the voltage regulator now connects to the S terminal, correct?
It's raining today and I'm spending some time with the grandkids. Hopefully Monday the weather will be nice enough to finish the wiring. I'll let you guys know how it turned out. Thanks agian to all of you that helped me through this, I wouldn't of even tried this by myself.

Yes that is correct, it goes to the "S" terminal.
If you were wondering where the wires go that go off to the right in that diagram her is a diagram that shows them.
I noticed on my truck that there is a green plastic piece that is unplugged that would go up above the glove box. It looks like some type of a buzzer.
Is it for the seatbelt, ignition key, lights? I haven't tried to plug it in yet, so not sure if it works or not.
Ordered me a electrical and vacuum manual that should be here sometime this week.
I got my 82 ford manual today. I bought it off ebay. It was suppose to be only the body chassis electrical, but when I opened the box there was also a service spec. electrical/ vacuum, do it yourself service guide, pre delivery/ maintenance/ lubrication books also.
Now I know how you guys know so many answers to so many questions. Thers everything in these things. Well worth the money.
Well we findly had some nice weather today and I went out to finish up the alternator connections to make the alt gauge work. Hooked up the wires to make sure I had it right without actually running them thru the firewall. Took about 40 minutes or so but fired the old truck up and everything works great.
Thank you again, subford and franklin for your help. The advice on getting a ford service manual was right on it. Best $5 I've spent in quite a while.
