need too know what frame mounts will work on my 78 ford, trying to swap from a 351m-to 460 and the frame mounts are almost impossiable to get,the motor mounts are no problem but the frame mounts are,i've found alot of the early f100 had different frame mounts, but the 77-79 had something else,is there another mount or can someone let me know where i can get them for a small price i've found what i think are them but they want $300.00 for them, help.
try a set of 1965 352 mounts for a 2wd truck they only have 2 holes to bolt to the block. you will need to enlongate them slightly and install them on the 460 block at an angle using 2 of the 3 bosses on the block. this mount has stock style stud that extends through the frame horns, worked great on my 81 2wd f100. cheap too.

i did this conversion and i used Hooker frame mounts, got'em from SummitRacing.com ($126.00) need the Ford motor mounts and shells. and this way you can add headers with out looking ugly! i bought hooker headers too.

fordlowboy is right, i used the hooker motor mount perches,
they bolt rightup and use all the original motor mounts,
and give you alot more room than those expensive l&l stuff.
good luck glenb
