Overheating
My 03 Excursion 6.0 PSD with ~70k miles on it started to overheat and make a roaring sound. The sound I think is the fan running full speed trying to keep the engine cool.
The coolant level is normal but when it overheats gas builds up in the coolant reservoir forcing all the coolant down into ? As soon as I open the cap it fills the reservoir up again.
Any diagnoses as to the problem?
The EGR valve was replaced about 5K ago.

Just to update:
The coolant loss got worse about a gallon a week and finally the dealer said there was a problem. Turned out to be the head gaskets which were replaced (under warranty).
$100 is alot better than the $3600 they quoted me before I told them it was still under warranty.
