Well been busy on the truck the last few days. Hopefully the gremlins will leave me alone for awhile now dammit lol. The 9" finally gave in so replaced it with a dana 60 I had here and changed the front to 8 lug. So went from 3:50 & 33's to 4:10 and 35's but have to do a gear swap up front still. Changed out the paper header gaskets for metal. (My engine kit came with the wrong exaust gaskets) Today my Distributer gave out. Was a new proform which I had to exchange once already before the first even made it in the engine. The reluctor and the pickup were comming into contact. The one that went in must have sheared a pin or something, the upper part could be spun separately from the lower part. Anyways had an msd6al sittin at home so grabbed it and went and exchanged the dist. for an msd 8477 i think it was. Did the quick install and came home. Will have to clean it up in the morning. What a huge difference in running now though. So a word to the wise - Stay clear of Proform Dist. Total crap IMHO
