1981 heater control
The switch on the control panel (off, vent, max, normal, heat, mix, defrost) is bad that provides power to control the clutch.
I placed a want-ad in the classified section of FTE, but so far, no takers. I've also tried several local 'yards'.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement heater a/c control panel for 1981-1982 F100/F150 (with or without dual tank switch)?

You don't want or need the whole panel, because...
The "kicker" switch that turns on/off the compressor is part of this:
E0TZ-19B888-B .. Air Conditioning Vacuum Selector Valve Assy. (Motorcraft YH-361)
This is a multi-ported vacuum valve, that attaches to the backside of the dash mounted A/C heater control panel.
The kicker switch mounts to the top of the valve.
While Ford doesn't sell the "kicker" switch by itself, NAPA did at one time, and prolly still does.
Give NAPA the Motorcraft # I listed, they can then cross it over and find the kicker switch from that.
Or...The valve is still available from Ford.
From FTE sponsor DIRECT FORD PARTS (Gaudin Ford-Las Vegas, NV)
Ford suggested retail price: $181.46 / FTE member net: $106.88
You might get a better price from FTE sponsor GREEN SALES, they have 4 of them in stock: 800-543-4959

Thanks for the part numbers and the information. The problem is that someone put a complete a/c heater control panel out of an 1976 in my '81. So I need the whole control panel.
Thanks again,
