That's what I would like to know? I'm working off memory of our air cleaner that we had to junk due to rust. It had the vacuum servo (sorry, that's what my tech instructor always called it LOL) At the end of the shroud. Kinda looks like a large hockey puck with a vacuum line attached. Under that unit is an arm that controls a 'flap' that diverts the air flow. Either from normal outside air, or pulling the air from across the exhaust manifold area to act as a 'preheater'. The controling valve itself is located within the air cleaner itself. Using one 'in' vacuum line and one 'out' vacuum line. It resembles a small disc with two vacuum hose ports on it.

This is what the OP wants:
Ford basic p/n 9E607 or 9E862 ~ VALVE = AIR TEMPERATURE CONTROL SENSOR.
There's TWO different types used in 1975.
D5DZ-9E862-A ~ MARKED: D5DF-9E862-AA
OR
D4ZZ-9E607-A > color coded YELLOW
D0ZZ-9E607-B > color coded BLUE

Sorry Guys, I forget the info on my truck isn't known. It's a '75 F-100 4X4 with a 360, and a 4 speed. The part I'm looking for is what Tedybear called the control valve in post #15.
Is that the part # that you listed in post # 17 Numberdummy? If so I need the blue one.

Yes, the BLUE one > > D0ZZ-9E607-B
Obsolete from Ford, but...
...FTE sponsor GREEN SALES has several in stock = 800-543-4959
Green Sales sells new Ford obsolete parts and is located in Cincinnati, OH.
You could also take the part number to NAPA, as they can cross Ford numbers over to the brand they sell.
This valve was used for over 20 years on cars & trucks beginning in 1970.

While you guys are helping me look-up/find small engine parts, does anyone know where to get the plastic part of the fast idle cam? I tried to have Napa cross reference it and came up blank, so a little help with that would be great. My carb is a Motorcraft 2100 or 2150.
Thanks again,
Steve
(I'll sit back with the elevator music until this gets resolved LOL)
Ford and their wonderful color coding. At least you have the color code to work with LOL. I need to locate the vacuum advance "spark delay valve" and the "check valve" for ours LOL. It only had one working vacuum valve to the EGR. Everything else was missing and mickey moused together.

Any chance there is a metal tag on your carb? Might say something like "Motorcraft" at the top...and something like D5TE....?

Try NAPA again...here the correct Ford & Motorcraft part numbers...
Thankfully, there's only one!
EDIT: VERIFIED BY CARB TAG # D5TE-BCB ~ 1973/79 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalog ~ Section 95 / Carb parts list #30X.
D5AZ-9597-A .. Fast Idle Cam (Motorcraft CM-2015)
Did you see the added info I added in the post above?

I had the fast idle cam #'s form one of your posts that I ran across about two weeks ago, and Napa was unable to cross either the factory # or the Motorcraft #. I haven't tried Jones West Ford yet, but I don't know if it's an oblsolete part or not.

Jones West Ford = on Kietzke Lane = you must be in Reno.
I sure am in Reno, watching the snow fly at the moment. I used to work for Jones West so the Parts Guys will try to find me anything I need, but I hate to send them on wild goose chases.

P/M sent.
Jones West: I used to know the front end man....Gary Musal, but he left there around 20 years ago.
Reno: I used to attend the Harrah's Swap Meets, and even got married in Reno...once.

Watching snow fly... LOL.. I had to wash about 10 lbs of road salt off the company van I drive this afternoon...And no sooner then I washed it off? It started snowing again.
You're lucky to have a decent set of parts guys you deal with at the dealership. Our local dealership's been a full pain in the tuckas with our two fords. (the '92 probe GT we retired due to rusted frame, and our project) Everytime I ask them about something? I always---and I mean ALWAYS get treated like the red-headed stepchild. And shown the door after being told "Sorry our parts catalogs only go back 10 years".
