It was 18 last night here and will be 13 tonight. I didn't drive my truck today and will not drive it tomorrow until afternoon. Do I need to plug it in all night or just about 3 hrs. before driving?
it'll start fine after being plugged in for 3 or so hours before u start. mine sat for 48 hours sunday into last night while i was at work and started fine, no block heater. albiet, it was only in like the 30's for that whole time, but....
Plug it in for 3 hours. Ive tried it for 3-4-5 hours but don't see any difference. Now at 13 degrees don't know. But I will tell you it sure makes throttle response a lot better driving out to work, and heat in the cab in a few miles. Burrrrr
It was supposedly -29 where I was the other night and I did not plug my truck in. The next morning I cycled the gp's three times and got nothing. Plugged it in for around 2 hrs and it fired right up. Of course by that time the air temp was much warmer.
