Well good news the running boards I made a jig for and with my dad's 50ton hydralic press not a problem. Forgot camera in city so oh well. The 1949 found some missing parts put em all together man it looks sharp me thinks I'm in love....
Head gaskets haven't showed up so still not running and glass is not in yet oh and brakes still not working.
To first get a job running company truck is the best way to find out if there`s a decent wage in it and to find out if you`ll like this type of work.
Better to find this out before you buy the truck.
With the press you can make custom running boards for others, more $$$ for you.....
No that's the plan yet, This is just step #1- get job running company truck
Thats a good plan - watch and learn the business if thats what you want to do. Keep yourself a log book of some type with names, numbers, and some notes on the contacts you deal with. It may be valuable in the future. Keep an eye out for any places where the current system is not meeting customers needs!
