[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Dec-02 AT 06:30 PM (EST)]OK here's the low down, I am putting a 429 into my 74' F-250 4x4. I have a bracket and pulley setup off of a 77' 2wd 460. Everything should work except for the PS pump bracket as it is too low and the pulley will hit the PS box.
My question is this, if I use the PS bracket from LandL products, can I also use all my other brackets and pullies in conjuction with it? Or do I have to use the bracket setup as a set from L and L . My concerns are mainly belt alignment I guess.
Any feedback or comments would be great. BTW I emailed L and L over a week ago with no reply yet.

I emailed L-n-L 2 months ago and still haven't gotten a reply. However, I did call them and placed an order for a 12 inch clutch and flywheel about 1.5 months ago. I got it 5 days later, its nice, really nice, but they just don't do email I figure.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Dec-02 AT 02:45 AM (EST)]I guess my best bet is to phone them, they probably get a lot of junk E-mail. Dennis you site was one of the first I visited before I started this endeavour. My difference is I have a 4spd. and a pickup. Once I saw the setup I needed from a 78' E-250 with a saginaw pump (just like yours) and I thout that I would come back next week with tools and cash in hand, well you could probably guess what happened. When I came back to inquire where the van went the #%!*%@ counterman said that they just CRUSHED IT!!! Anyways I am over that now.... almost. Oh well... guess I better phone L and L this week.
Thanks Guys.
