Anyone looking for a 7.3IDI?

I'll be getting that parts truck, but I don't need the mill. He said it did run (not very well), but I'm not sure if it still does. Anyway, it's a non turbo IDI in a '93. I won't be needing the recently rebuilt Auto tranny either. I'll let you all know when I get it home. It may be a couple weeks off yet.

Good idea to post it in the classifieds.
I already have a spare and a parts 7.3.
There`s also a similar 7.3 in Kijiji.Saskatoon: ''7.3 diesel engine out of 90' f-250 266,000km, uses about a litre/5000km. New glow plugs $600.''

It`s a steal only if it`s decent.
Though I don`t think I need it it`s almost tempting.
What`s the word on your dad`s turbo-ed 7.3, any idea yet?

Your dad has an 01 what?
If he does the swap I might be interested in the turbo set up from the 7.3.

Nope, next to totally impossible, impractical, can`t be done, etc.
Better let me have it before you get very badly hurt......

I`m not sure if all the work, time and $$$ would be worth it unless one was real deep into alot of mods. I`m sure it would make a difference though to some degree.
If anything I`d first like one for my 86 L8000 tandem with 3208 Cat instead.

That would be a benefit to your cat motor for sure.

If a guy used your 92 quite abit it would be a benefit. They add alot of power, and economy over stock.
