You could always go find some power window assemblies out of a late 80's / early 90's ford truck and make those work. The fronts will probably bolt right in but the rears I don't know about. I have never seen the inner workings of the newer doors. I already had one power window set from electriclife from a while ago, so when I bought the crewcab, I just had to but one more set. I think the power door locks would be worth more than the windows. Try unlocking the passenger side rear door from the drivers seat vs just hitting the button.
While we are on the subject of door locks. On my crewcab, if you pull the interior handle on the front doors, it will unlock the door and open the door at the same time. On the rear doors, it has to be unlocked to be opened from inside. If the rear doors are locked then you can't get out. Do you guy's have the same situation? I thought about changing the lock assemblies but figured it to be a good "child safety" feature in the future. And yes, the rear portion of my interior cage is designed to fit a car seat in the buckets using a factory seat belt assembly.
I thought about the power windows out of an 80's but figured I'd ask that question and cross that bridge when I got around to the windows years from now.
As for the rear doors - yes mine work the same way.
And yes unlocking the passanger door is almost as annoying as trying to reach all the way from the front door to the rear door lock pull to unlock the rear doors. I don't consider myself overly "small", but when standing on the ground I have a VERY hard time unlocking the rear doors. I usually look like a fool climbing up into the driverseat, facing backwards to unlock the doors.
I certainly hop for figured this one out and moved the lock/unlock mechanism in the door more towards the front new trucks.
For the kid seat use one of cool Beard, Mastercraft or Simpson baby seats!
I don't have kids yet but one of those seats is a must. Those seats don't work for the first year or so when the kid is still an infant. You need to use a regular rear facing baby seat and that is what the factory belt is for. I think I will end up using the simpson seat when the time comes.
With my cage it is almost impossible to unlock the rear doors by trying to reach back there. It can be done but not easy at all.
for the price of them electric window kits 600$ i could just hire a mexican family to sit in my truck year around and roll them up and down for me, heck they would probably even make the electric sounds

damn man - thanks for the laugh!
Heck, while they're at it you could have them un-lock the hard to reach back doors!
