Found pat. numbers from my diff, anyone help ID?
Dana 60 in my 56'.. Need to figure out what it came out of, if it aint stock, so I can get correct parts.
On the housing: Rt side upper: C 30255
Rt lower: 60
Lft side upper: u.s.pat 1968 618
Lft lower" u.s. pat 2018188
Anyone?

You need to find the build of materials number of the passenger side axle tube. It's normally on the back side of the axle.
Edit: Just looked in your gallery and you have the diagram. If it doesn't have a build of material number then the axle is pre 1967 and you won't find any information other than what was on the cover tag.
