t-5 install
hey guys. got a question for you guys who have done the t-5 install behind a y-block. are you guys using a tranny crossmember??????? If you are, are you fabbing up your own or what you using and from what????
also, did you use the s10 tailhousing to get the right shifter position??????? is it hard to swap the tailhousings????

For a S-10 T-5 swap into a 292 go to bagerlandf100s website an look for the tech article. If Truckfarmer comes along he can post the link.
It is not a simple bolt on.
It requires machine work and welding to the bell.

no no no. I am asking bout the tailhousing to put the shifter in the right place. I ont want to use the whole s-10 t-5. just the tailhousing. from what i have read the tailhousings are interchangeable with a few parts changed. ive seen badgerlands an it looks like a lot of goofin round. I just want to use a mustang t-5 with the s-10 tailhousing(as lil chevy specific parts as possible)
