i have 97 F-250HD want to take the stock radio out but how the heck you do that different from the other ones ive took out.

If the radio is a single din,which by your description I think it is at the sides of the radio you will see two small holes.Make 2 u shaped tools out of welding wire,coat hanger might work.Push the tools into the 4 holes until you feel a little resistance and then push a little farther now a little pressure sideways away from center and pull radio out.You can also remove glove box and access radio with a extra set of hands to help push radio out.t These tools might be available from wallymart.I know every time I buy a radio from crutchfield I get a new pair.They might even have them at your local parts store,napa,orielly etc.I hope this helps.
