I have a 1990 Bronco and the wheel bearing went out on one side. I replaced the bearing and converted to warn premiums. I figured I'd replace the bearings on the other side while I was installing the Warns. I got the old hub out and one spindle nut and the lockring. The threads in front of the back nut are gone for about an 1/8 inch and the back nut will not come off. Does anyone have any ideas about how I can remove this?

cold chisel the lockring in half then replace the lockrings and the spindle... probably replace bearings and races while your at it.
