i just want some clarification. we have a thread going "IH or Ford". Im wondering if the reason some people are getting strange looks when they go to the "non ford" dearler for parts is that they are going to the and not the dealer. Am i wrong in thinking that they are two diffrent places. I always thought International Harvester made Case and Farmall tractors. International Navistar Makes light and medium duty trucks and engines. Maybe you guys can clear me up on this cause im confused.
Thats what i was thinking. I thought some may have the two confused, but i didnt wanna sound like the DA. To add to the confusion some International trucks are used in AG applications. Fertilizer spreaders and such.
Alright, alright, My bad! I dont know what was on my mind when I started the post but the strange thing is why did everyone who replyed to the post refer to international as IH?!?! Now thats funny! But thats ok we all got a lot of good info on IH oopps
International to Ford part numbers. Sorry, didnt mean to confuse any one.
IH is easier to type than Navistar International Truck And engine Corporation. I guess some of us older farts remember when IH built the trucks before going to Navistar.
