I was big into this before i bought my truck in 05, i had a Traxxas Revo 2.5 that was heavily modified, and then i bought a Jato 2.5 as well. I started modifying my truck, left the RCs sit, and now that im at the point where i have to tear into the engine to go farther, i decided to ease up on that. Some new fuel, batteries and some time, i got my two year old RCs out of hibernation. Ive had tons of fun in the past few weeks. Just bought a Traxxas Nitro 4-tec 3.3... Pretty hyped up about it- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN:IT&ih=008
My brother has alway's been into the r/c scene. He has and old hpi sport 2, and hpi nitro sport 4 and just got a 2.5 traxxas. Very expensive sport; seems like every 5-6 times he takes it out something on it breaks and he has to get parts for it. I have been contemplating a nitro rustler, but I really don't think I would enjoy it enough to constitute the cost.
I owned a couple of RCs. I had a Losi 2wd Ford Bodied Truck. With a .15 nitro engine. It would fly with wings. I has a Mugen car & a HPI Truck. I sold them a few years ago. I'm thinking of getting back into it again.
I really enjoyed them. My wife has asked me a few times if I was going to buy another one. I use to race in Las Vegas and she use to enjoy going and watching.
I was a couple of years ago, but after my Granpda passed away and I got his pickup truck (that's what my name is about) I could only afford one hobby at a time so my Traxxas Nitro Stampede is in a box in the garage and I sold the E-MAXX and T-MAXX. Grandpa's truck is about done so I am looking at getting back into it this summer.
