I am looking to purchase this truck but would like to know the history before getting serious. Dealer is looking to move it from what the salesman has stated. I will be pulling a fifth wheel to Alaska this summer. What rear end is in the truck? Shold I look for something else maybe even order one?

Why don't you ask the Dealer for a OASIS Report on the vehicle. They should be willing to provide you with this...Could be very minor issues.

I did ask the dealer if he could give me the Oasis report and he nicely stated no. I do not think he is trying to hide anything just would prefer not to give it out. This does not surprise me from a dealer as they want to move the vehicle. I suspect that there are a few warranty claims that some might percieve as bad news either way. My biggest concern is if the issues are engine or transmission related. I have no problem if a lock was stuck or the air malfunctioned . The truck will still have a warranty after my purchase. I would stay clear if the vehicle has had several engine issues. I would just like someone to print the Oasis report and send it to me or post either way and this could all end pretty quickly.

I would but I do not have access to it..
It would appear the Dealer does not want to sell it that bad..I'd tell him if you want me as a customer then give it to me...Several other Dealers..If they refuse that could be a sign it is a Dealer you would not want to deal with as you may have issues with them and customer service.

Just on principal, if the dealer is saying NO to giving you an Oasis, I personally would have to wonder why? What's the big deal if you're the potential buyer? Maybe someone more knowledgeable than I could explain that. I can understand them not wanting to do this for every used vehicle, but if that is the only thing between you and the "deal", what 's it going to cost them?

Thanks to everyone especially SandDemon08. I have decided not to purchase the truck after talking to the dealer one last time. You get feelings in life and something told me to stay away from this one the hunt continues. Thanks again to everyone this forum was a great help.
