Just on principal, if the dealer is saying NO to giving you an Oasis, I personally would have to wonder why? What's the big deal if you're the potential buyer? Maybe someone more knowledgeable than I could explain that. I can understand them not wanting to do this for every used vehicle, but if that is the only thing between you and the "deal", what 's it going to cost them?
I don't know how ford is, but we're not supposed to give that out as it contains previous customer info etc...

And I can certainly understand not giving personal information out. And that info can easily be deleated. But in this day of high priced vehicles, a wary buyer also needs to be apeased. A oasis(less any personal info), can go a long way to help make that potential customer feel more comfortable with his or her decision. I'm sure that a dealer runs an oasis before taking a vehicle on trade. Two edged sword cuts both ways. Just my opinion of course.
I like having my oasis report in my computer, feels nice to be able to read over all the problems the truck has had once and awhile, and see how good this truck has been for its entire existence, which will be exactly 5 years on the 22nd!
Funny, you cannot get an Oasis Report on a vehicle you are interested, but you can get someone elses credit report in a minute. What insanity are we chasing here?
