1997 F150 Plenum Gasket
I appears that I need to remove my Plenum and unblock the EGR flow ports. Can someone please tell me which gaskets I will need to reinstall. The catalog shows the two side gaskets and it also shows a gasket in the center. I am realize I need the sides but not sure what the center gaskets is.

1997 F150 Plenum Gasket
When I removed mine it came right up without damage to the gasket. I re-attached the plenum with the old gasket and no permetex and things are fine. I could only see One gasket when removed.

1997 F150 Plenum Gasket
This should be concerning the throttle body (TB) gasket on top of the Plenum. I solved a P0401 (EGR flow insufficient) code by removing the carbon blockage from the EGR port holes that run through the TB.
By the way, I had some minor acceleration ping prior to this repair, I haven’t noticed any pinging since the EGR system is working properly.
