My week at work...

Sorry that I've been a bit quiet this week, fellas. I actually have to work this week.

Instead of being my normal, one department self, I'm assigned to help another department for yesterday and today. (And probably tomorrow!)

But I'll catch up with y'all this weekend, and hopefully next week, I'll be back to my normal job description...i.e. show up and sit here screwing around in the office!!!!

Some people have to work I guess.

I am off until the 12th of January.

That is both good and bad....

Terry, you ought to be old enough to have learned, but if you screw it up bad enough, they won't make you work that other dept and you can just go back to doing what you do!! Sheesh! Do I have to tell you everything?

Well, I'm halfway back to my real job. After leaving the line down for a week, I had exactly ONE order to make yesterday. When I left last night, I had zero more orders to make.

The good news is that I got three more this morning...that should at least keep me occupied for a few days!!!

Everybody else go back to work yet?

(Except you, Brian, you rotten, stinkin', ***** )

Except I won't get a pay check from work until the end of February. It has serious drawbacks too.

Ouch. That's one problem that I don't have...I work waaaaaaaaaaay too much, but I've got a good cash flow...my "real" job pays me twice a month, and my weekend job provides a paycheck every Friday, and cash every day that I work.

Oh never mind. You deliver for Papa John's. I'd be running for the crapper as soon as I ate it.

Laugh it up, funny boy...

Actually, I currently run pizzas for Papa in Olathe...and know a few people in the Lenexa store...I'm sure I could get you a deal...

Papa built a new store in Grandview...and they're trying to talk me into going over there and helping...um, no.

That's weird, it's the only one that doesn't give me the runs! Our local Pizza Hut is the WORST!! I think it's because it's old and run down and not too clean. The owner simply will not fix it up as it needs to be! The health inspector has even noted he won't order anything from them. He does come eat at my place at least once a week though. I'm doing something right!!

I am on disability for the dialysis. That takes up 3 days a week. That is a regular (small) check every month.

I work part time at the college. I get checks 8 months out of the year for that. February, March, April, May, September, October, November, and December. That is when classes make. This past fall...only 1/3 of mine made. Hurt the bank account for sure.

Oh...and I can only eat one or two slices of pizza a month (right after blood tests) if they don't know about it.

Never had any from that brand to say good or bad.
